Rest In Peace Nathaniel Woods
Thousands cared for and wished to see an innocent set free today to live his life with his family and friends. Sadly, the evil degenerates Governor of Alabama Kay Ivey, liar Attorney General Steve Marshall, and the feckless Supreme Court of the United States and many other nefarious offenders in this tragedy murdered an innocent man tonight. Pronounced dead at 9:01 pm, Nathaniel Woods was an innocent man on death row since 2005. In 2004 he was charged as an accomplice in the slaying of 3 police officers. Overwhelming evidence such as an outright affidavit from the real sole trigger man and key witnesses contending Nathaniel’s innocence exonerates Nathaniel Woods. Evidence shows there was only one gunman, there was no conspiracy or plot to murder the cops, Woods was never at the scene of the crime, and that an assistant district attorney and detective intimidated two key witnesses to feign and not tell the truth at the trial in court. It was not a fair trial, and it was unjust that Woods was charged as an accessory with the murders in 2004 with the insufficient evidence. It is a travesty of justice. He was not an accomplice nor at the scene. The abrogation of justice stems from the state of Alabama’s historical carceral system which incarcerates and mistreats African Americans at a thoughtless and racial basis. In Jim Crow South, (legacies persist today) socially and customarily vindictive acts of revenge were carried out speedily against targeted African Americans. Almost all instances the victims were innocent and at most committed only petty offenses such as vagrancy (vagrancy laws incarcerated blacks in state statutes). White supremacists in Southern society and in law enforcement practiced lynching as a custom of habit. KKK (still idolized today in Lost Cause Revisionism by American white supremacists, and Neo-Confederates) perpetuated acts of terror carrying out lynchings. These violent acts of terrorism were carried out by false claims of a white woman being raped, or a murder. Mob rule and conspiracies of “black’s insolence” were tenants of lynchings. Whether we want to believe it not, these attitudes of enacting violence against African Americans even in the justice system are still the same motivations of our murderous Southern predecessors. The claim by state DA’s and detectives that Woods was an accessory in the conspiracy to murder three cops fits the narrative of what lynchers predicated on. So it is not wrong to say the execution of Nathaniel Woods was a lynching. It speaks of the violent motivations of many southern law enforcement authorities and the practitioners of the legal system. Kay Ivey and Steve Marshall express no remorse killing an innocent man. They canted the baseless claim that Woods was a murder of 3 cops. It was a lynching.
Rest In Peace Nathaniel Woods.
